My Favourite Cycling Moment of 2012

There were loads and loads of terrific stories last year. Making a choice of one was very difficult. I had prepared a long summary of all of them, but it got a bit out of hand, so I have edited from 27 moments to just this one.

Thanks Carlton Kirby and Brian Smith for showing some passion.

I remember this. Gutsy ride. Thanks for sharing!

  2. That was one hell of a moment, it’s true. QuickStep had a bit of a year of them. My moment was Boonen and Terpstra getting away with ~60km to go at Paris-Roubaix, then Boonen losing Terpstra with 50ish to go and soloing to the finish, making it at 4 P-R and 3 at the Ronde and a potential history-making classic season this year.

Not quite as dramatic and shouty as the clip you chose, but I think it has merit. Yours would be damn close to equal first 😉
